India’s AI Job-Loss Concerns Lower Than in Richer Economies, Pew Data Shows

People in India are generally less concerned about AI-driven job losses than respondents in richer economies, according to data from the Pew Research Center reported by Business Standard.

The cross-country data found that expectations of AI-related job losses and widening inequality were generally higher in countries with higher GDP per capita.

India’s large technology and services sectors make the impact of artificial intelligence an important subject for workers, businesses and policymakers.
